“Internet +” Alliance was officially launched in Beijing on the 3rd of December this year.
The first member conference of the “Internet +” Alliance and the first council conference were successfully held in Beijing on December 3, 2018. The Chinese governmental officers, Sun Wei, deputy director of the Department of High Technology Industry of NDRC (the National Development and Reform Commission), Li Ying, Investigator of the Information and Software Services Department of MIIT (the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), Zhang Peng, deputy director of the Information Technology Development Bureau of CAC (Cyberspace Administration of China), and enterprises, universities and research bodies’ executives and representatives from more than 100 organizations attended the conference.
The “Internet +” Alliance established is to implement the “Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Actively Advancing the “Internet” + Actions”, and vigorously expand the breadth and depth of the integration of new-generation information technology and economic and social fields represented by the Internet. Under the joint guidance of NDRC, MIIT and CAC, the TD Industry Alliance (TDIA), China Internet Development Foundation (CIDF), Internet Society of China (ISC), and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) have been the four co-founders of the Internet+ Alliance.
